Escape from Underworld

A project for CISC 226 at Queen's University by Ahsan Ahmad, Daniel Madan, Ethan Lemieux. 

Our game is a 2D platformer in which the player takes control of a young man named Heron who was wrongfully taken to the Underworld. Heron must learn how to navigate through the depths of the abyss and find the path leading back to the world of the living. However, Heron will quickly realize he is not equipped to traverse this hellish landscape. He must explore to find ancient relics dropped by the gods to gain abilities in order to escape!
